I am a pianist, percussionist, composer, and software engineer (and not always in that order).
I currently play piano in a jazz group, and record my own music in my home studio, primarily using Ableton Live and Propellerhead Reason. I used to do this sort of thing full-time, writing music for TV & radio ads, theater, dance, puppetry, video games, and anything that needed a tune or two. I’ve recently started writing about art-making and the creative process, largely based on my experiences going through creative burnout and back. Some of these essays can be found in the Words section of this site.
By day, I work as a mild-mannered software engineer for Mamasource.
